Repairs to the D7 Highway, Which Will Last Until November, Paralyzed the Traffic at the Airport

Travelling around the Prague airport will be complicated in the next two months. The TSK is carrying out road repairs in Lipská Street outwards from the centre. A roundabout at the airport exit will also be built. Work will last until November 2016.

Traffic jams are formed in some areas during the morning and evening rush. There is no diversion route in place, so the traffic jams can move onto roads in the area.

From September to November 2016, there are traffic restrictions on the way to Václav Havel Airport Prague. We advise travellers to pay special attention when driving through the construction site. Travel time from or to the airport can be prolonged by 10 to 15 minutes.

From 15 September to 30 November 2016, a roundabout is being built on Aviatická street to increase the capacity, flow and safety of the traffic heading to the airport via Lipská street (the D7 motorway). The Aviatická street traffic will be regulated by temporary traffic signs during the construction.

From 14 September to 11 November 2016, about three kilometres of one of the Lipská street lines of traffic in the direction from the city centre to Kladno are being repaired. The construction does affect the area from the crossing with the Prague Ring road to the exit in the direction of Tuchoměřice. Due to the repairs to the central dividing line, traffic is also restricted in the direction towards the city centre. Airport access is marked and regulated by temporary traffic signs.
