How Does Passenger Check-in Progress?

Being at the airport two hours before departure or three hours in advance is recommended if you are travelling with oversized luggage. Once you arrive at the departure hall, you will find the counter numbers on the information board, where workers will check you in and issue a boarding pass based on a travel document. At the same time, they will check your luggage concerning your ticket price – that is, if you have the right weight, dimensions, and baggage. You then go to a security check. If you fly to countries outside the Schengen area, then from Terminal 1 at Vaclav Havel Prague Airport, you must pass passport control. The boarding pass and travel documents will be checked before boarding the aircraft in the departure waiting room.

Security Fasttrack: Priority Passage Through Security Control

A special Security FastTrack service is now available for all passengers leaving Terminal 2 of Ruzyne Airport to Schengen countries. With this service, you can easily book when you want to go through the security check. You can order Security FastTrack on the Prague Airport website, and four Smart kiosks will be available for ordering directly at Terminal 2 Departure Hall.

A Bit of Luxury With Private Check-in Service

Anyone travelling from Terminal 2 at Vaclav Havel Prague Airport can order a private check-in service 24 hours before departure. The service offers private check-in and access to the exclusive Raiffeisenbank Lounge. You can book the service at the Prague Airport website: www.prg.aero.
