In 2025, Prague Airport reported a strong performance with an EBITDA of CZK 5.1 billion. This marks an increase of CZK 0.8 billion in operating profit compared to the previous year. The airport’s net profit for 2025 reached CZK 3.2 billion, showcasing a similar year-on-year growth of CZK 0.8 billion.
“Prague Airport is a crucial part of the country’s infrastructure, which directly influences the Czech economy’s performance, attracts investments, boosts tourism, and enhances the competitiveness of the Czech Republic. Therefore, I believe that modernizing the airport is an essential growth-oriented investment that will provide long-term advantages for Czech citizens and businesses,” explains Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Alena Schillerová, adding: “Moreover, our macroeconomic analysis indicates that each added million passengers contributes billions of crowns to our economy, creates thousands of jobs, and has a notable ripple effect across various sectors. In today’s increasing international competition, executing major infrastructure projects is vital for the future success of our nation. With the approved dividend policy and planned investments, the state, being the sole owner, has decided to distribute a dividend of 20% of net profit. “We aim for the airport to grow and modernize energetically,” concluded Alena Schillerová.
“I am thrilled that last year confirmed the consistent growth of Prague Airport across all major indicators. An increase in the number of handled passengers, a revival of flight connections, and efficient cost management have all positively influenced the financial results. Additionally, we have initiated several significant investment projects that are the first steps in the planned extensive modernization of Václav Havel Airport Prague,” states Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prague Airport.
In 2025, Václav Havel Prague Airport served a total of 17.8 million passengers, which is an increase of 1.4 million compared to the prior year. Over the year, 84 airlines were operational at Prague Airport, providing connections to 194 different destinations. In collaboration with airlines, 19 new routes were introduced throughout the year.
Prague Airport generated aviation revenues of CZK 7.1 billion in 2025, while non-aviation revenues reached CZK 3.7 billion. The airport also focused on enhancing its commercial and customer services. During the year, 18 new restaurant and retail locations were opened to better serve passengers. Additionally, Prague Airport launched a new service called “Flexi parking,” which offers affordable parking options close to the airport, along with transport to the terminals via an air-conditioned van.
In 2025, Prague Airport continued investing in updating its infrastructure. Key investments included significant improvements around the main runway, the construction of a utility tunnel, and renovations of the administrative building in Terminal 1. The total investment for these projects amounted to CZK 3.5 billion.
Looking ahead, Prague Airport anticipates processing approximately 18.6 million passengers this year.
