Prague Airport, in partnership with the airline flyadeal, is enhancing direct flight options to Saudi Arabia. Today marks the official launch of flights connecting Prague and Riyadh, along with a new service to Jeddah. Both routes will be available three times a week for the summer season. For flyadeal, Prague is an important location as it enters the European market.

“We are excited to welcome flyadeal as a new airline operating at our airport. The new route from Jeddah and increased flights from Riyadh will boost our connectivity to the Middle East, as well as strengthen ties between the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia. We have seen a steady rise in higher-spending travelers from Saudi Arabia visiting Prague, and we anticipate around 20,000 passengers will use these new routes in both directions during the seasonal period,” stated Jiri Pos, Chairman of the Board at Prague Airport.

The new flights will begin at the start of the summer holiday season—Riyadh on 1 July and Jeddah on 2 July—and will continue until the end of September. flyadeal will operate these scheduled flights using Airbus A320neo aircraft, each with a capacity of 186 passengers. The Prague–Riyadh service will run on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while flights to Jeddah will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Prague is a prime destination for flyadeal, catering to the Central European region, and is among the first new locations where the airline is entering the European market. This summer, flyadeal has also introduced services to Milan and Sarajevo. “Launching our seasonal summer flights to Prague is an exciting expansion for flyadeal’s summer network, allowing our customers more options and flexibility during one of the busiest travel seasons of the year. Besides attracting tourists from Saudi Arabia, these new routes also provide travel opportunities for Czech citizens, who are increasingly interested in visiting the Middle East. Riyadh offers a fascinating blend of ancient fortresses and contemporary skyscrapers, and it also serves as a gateway to desert adventures. Jeddah boasts a historic center recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its coral stone houses. Additionally, the city hosts the King Fahd Fountain, which shoots water more than 300 meters into the air.
