Travelers can eagerly anticipate an exciting range of winter flights from Václav Havel Airport Prague. The winter flight schedule, available from 26 October 2025 to 28 March 2026, includes 15 new destinations and 12 new airlines. This season also sees a significant increase in available seats, rising by over 12% compared to last year. From Prague, passengers will have the opportunity to fly to a total of 127 destinations worldwide with 66 different airlines.

Travelers can eagerly anticipate a wide selection of winter flights from Václav Havel Airport Prague. The winter flight timetable, effective from 26 October 2025 until 28 March 2026, boasts an impressive 15 new destinations along with 12 airlines that are now offering service. Overall, there will be a year-on-year boost in available seating by more than 12%. This means travelers can fly from Prague to an extensive list of 127 global destinations, serviced by 66 airlines.

Along with exciting European cities, this winter’s offerings also include several exotic locations, popular winter vacation spots, and weekend getaway destinations. New arrivals compared to the 2024/2025 winter season include cities such as Amman (through Ryanair), Abu Dhabi (via Etihad Airways), Beirut (with Eurowings), Bordeaux (by easyJet and Volotea), Cork (with Aer Lingus), Marrakech (via Eurowings), Sharjah (through Air Arabia), and Toulouse (by Smartwings). Additionally, new charter flights will expand travel options to locations like the Maldives, Muscat, and Sharm el-Sheikh. The number of weekly flights will also be enhanced on over 20 regular routes, including Athens, Dublin, Reykjavík, Paris, Catania, Copenhagen, and Málaga.

“Traveling is no longer just a summer activity. The winter months are becoming more popular for Czechs seeking holidays abroad, as well as for international tourists visiting Prague. We expect to handle over 6.4 million passengers this winter season. Our winter flight schedule showcases an unprecedented number of destinations and a notable increase in capacity, specifically over twelve percent,” stated Jiří Pos, Chairman of the Prague Airport Board of Directors.

Smartwings Leads the Increase in Direct Flight Options

A key factor in the rise of available seating at Václav Havel Airport Prague this winter is the airline Smartwings, which will add more than 260,000 seats compared to last year. Under the winter schedule, Smartwings plans to introduce new flights to destinations such as Brussels, Bucharest, Bilbao, Porto, Barcelona, and Rome while also increasing the frequency of flights on popular routes to Malaga, Madrid, and Paris.

During the 2025/2026 winter season, several new airlines will begin operations in Prague, including Air Arabia (for Sharjah), AJet (to Istanbul/SAW), and Animawings (to Bucharest), alongside airlines that started service last summer, such as Asiana Airlines (to Taipei), Condor (to Frankfurt), and Etihad Airways (to Abu Dhabi). In total, there will be over 45,000 flights departing from Prague this winter, representing a 12% increase in aircraft movements compared to the last winter season.
