Road undergoing reconstruction by Terminal 1. What traffic restrictions shall be expected?"Terminal 1 Road Renovations: What You Need to Know About Upcoming Traffic Restrictions!"

Prague Airport is excited to announce a new partnership with Visa. Starting on July 1st of this year, Visa will become the official partner of the Terminal 2 lounge, which will be newly branded as the Visa Lounge. This collaboration will last for five years. In the near future, the lounge is set to undergo a major transformation, aimed at providing passengers with an even better experience and greater comfort.

“Prague Airport is consistently working to expand and enhance our premium services to meet the evolving needs of travelers. We view collaboration with significant partners as a crucial step in further enhancing these services, ultimately offering greater value to passengers,” says Jaroslav Petržela, a member of the Prague Airport Board of Directors. He adds: “We are thrilled about our new partnership with Visa, a truly global brand. Together, we aim to ensure that visitors to the Visa Lounge enjoy the highest level of comfort before their flight.”

Visa is taking on the role of partner for the Terminal 2 lounge, which was previously known as the FastTrack Lounge, after a competitive selection process conducted by Prague Airport. The partnership will continue for the next five years. Access to the lounge will be available to premium Visa cardholders, in accordance with the terms set by their card issuers.

“The first Visa Lounge in the Czech Republic marks an important step in providing premium Visa cardholders with benefits that extend beyond just making payments. Traveling comes with many moments where comfort, peace of mind, and high-quality services are appreciated. That’s why we want to create a space where passengers can relax before their flight, handle business tasks, or simply enjoy a more comfortable start to their journey,” says Marcel Gajdoš, Visa CEO for the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia.

The upcoming changes to the lounge will include its first complete renovation since 2008. This will bring not only a fresh design with a blend of blue, white, and copper accents but will also elevate the overall passenger experience. In addition to dedicated work areas, which will feature two separate phone booths, a unique “interactive room” will be introduced—a relaxing zone designed to provide a quiet escape from the busy airport atmosphere. This minimalist and calming space will allow guests to unwind, and through an easy interactive feature, they will also be able to customize the visual ambiance to their liking. Therefore, the Visa Lounge will not only provide comfortable facilities but will also offer an innovative and personalized experience that enhances the existing standards of premium airport services.

Currently, passengers visiting the Terminal 2 lounge will find an environment that is perfect for both relaxation and productivity, complete with complimentary refreshments. The lounge also features individual security checks, ensuring a quick and pleasant passage through the airport.
