Starting July 1st of this year, Česká spořitelna will be opening a brand-new space called the Erste Premier Lounge in Terminal 1 at Prague Airport. This new lounge is a result of a recent partnership with Prague Airport. The agreement aims to further enhance the comfort and services available for passengers who seek a more luxurious experience before their flights. Notably, Česká spořitelna is the only bank within the Czech Republic that provides a lounge under the Erste Premier Lounge brand in both airport terminals specifically for its premium Erste Premier and Erste Private Banking clients.
“The new lounge in Terminal 1 will nicely complement the existing Erste Premier Lounge located in Terminal 2, giving clients of Erste Premier and Erste Private Banking a comfortable space to enjoy even before flights that go outside the Schengen Area,” explains Lukáš Krch from Česká spořitelna, who is overseeing the development of the new airport lounge. He adds: “This opening is the result of a long-standing partnership with Prague Airport and is also a response to the rising demand for more comfortable travel options.”
“Annually, the Erste Premier Lounge in Terminal 2 serves nearly one hundred thousand of our clients. They greatly value the tranquility it offers for relaxation, the workspaces provided, and the high-quality amenities available. That’s why we aim to extend similar comforts to passengers flying outside the Schengen Area,” mentions Pavel Kratochvíl from Česká spořitelna, who leads the Erste Premier service.
Česká spořitelna secured the opportunity to be the partner for the lounge in Terminal 1 by winning a competitive tender released by Prague Airport. Based on this success, both organizations have formed a partnership for the next five years.
“We are pleased that Česká spořitelna has come on board as the new partner for the lounge in Terminal 1. This reflects our strong existing collaboration with the largest and most traditional bank in the Czech market, as well as with the esteemed Erste Group, which ranks among the largest financial conglomerates in Central and South-Eastern Europe. I am excited about our collaboration as we strive to continuously elevate the quality of passenger services through this partnership. Our aim is to deliver an exceptional customer experience with enhanced comfort and superior services, supported by modern technology,” states Jaroslav Petržela, a Member of the Prague Airport Board of Directors responsible for commercial operations.
In the upcoming Erste Premier Lounge in Terminal 1, Česká spořitelna plans to integrate features that its clients currently enjoy at the modern Future Lab branch located in the center of Prague. This includes a digital avatar that acts as an assistant to offer visitors practical guidance and information. Additionally, there will be a space dedicated to gaming for client enjoyment. Another exciting feature will be the ability to book lounge access online via the George app, helping clients plan their journeys better and skip the queues.
The Erste Premier Lounge in Terminal 2 is already well-equipped to meet the demands of modern travelers. Among other amenities, passengers can enjoy a chic, peaceful atmosphere that prioritizes privacy, an all-inclusive menu of food and beverages including a fully serviced bar, private workspaces in acoustic booths, Wi-Fi access, an outdoor terrace with views of the planes, showers, relaxation zones, and an interactive play area for children.
