As Prague is quickly becoming the top tourist destination
in the EU, now serving tens of millions tourists each year, Prague’s airport and inbound flights are increasing all the time. This was also one of reasons why new terminal 2 was opened this year allowing to server additional 4 millions passengers every year.
Recommend check in time for all UK flights
is 2 hrs before flight schedule departure and 3 hrs for long distance haul flights.

TERMINALS

terminals info
There are 3 terminals at the airport, Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Terminals 1 and 2 deal with both international and domestic departures and arrivals, whereas Terminal 3 serves general and business aviation. In both public terminals arrival and departure halls are next to each other, situated on the same level. Transfer between these terminals is either by minibus or taxi. All flights from Shengen countries arrive at Terminal 2 (like Spain, Germany etc.) and all other flights (flights from non-Shengen countries like the USA and the UK) arrive at Terminal 1. The new Terminal 2, which was opened in the year 2006, now offers great facilities and is made up of six buildings. It mainly deals with flights to and from the EU. By launching Terminal 2, Prague Airport has made a significant step in the effort to modernize its facilities, offer seamless handling, and increase the transport capacity of the airport, which is becoming one of the major air hubs in Central and Eastern Europe. More planned investment linked to this terminal will help channel more visitors to Prague and double the number of passengers to around 20 million a year over the next 10 years.

Terminal names are being simplified along with flight transfers.
Terminals for the traveling public:
Current name:Terminal North 1 (abbreviation TN1) New name: Terminal 1 (abbreviation T1)

Current name: Terminal North 2 (abbreviation TN2) New name: Terminal 2 (abbreviation T2)

Terminal for private flights:
Current name:Terminal South 2
New name: Terminal 3 General Aviation (abbreviation T3)

Tip: Prague Airport Exhibition. Take a walk through the history of Prague Airport captured here on many absorbing photographs. In winter months sometimes snowfall
causes one or more runways to be closed and flights delayed. If departing from UK it's good idea not flying on the first flights of the day as these most likely to be cancelled whilst Prague sorts itself out from overnight snowfall. Average affected days during winter months: 4-5days.
Online flight booking

Wifi
In the business lounge upstairs in Terminal 1 there are four PCs with free wired internet access. Plenty of 'powerpoints' around the lounge for laptops. T Mobile wi-fi available at 178.50 Czech Crowns for one hour - equivalent to just over 6 Euros. Wi-fi signal reception in the lounge is good.
