As Prague is quickly becoming the top tourist destination
in the EU, now serving tens of millions tourists each year, Prague’s
airport and inbound flights are increasing all the time. This was also one
of reasons why new terminal 2 was opened this year allowing to server
additional 4 millions passengers every year.
Recommend check in time for all UK flights is 2 hrs
before flight schedule departure and 3 hrs for long distance haul flights.

PARKING AT PRAGUE AIRPORT |

Prague Airport Terminal North 1 (TN1) Parking options:
Due to new security regulations, passengers are no longer allowed to park at Terminal One (TN1). You can park directly at Prague airport Terminal One (TN1) only if you have a special access card. If you are dropping off passengers then there is a ground level car park on the other side of the bus lane which is "free no charge” for 15 minutes. After this time there is a charge of 100 CZK for each hour. If you are staying longer or you intend to leave your car for a few days then parking area "C" is where you should head for.
There are about 3,000 parking lots in total, of which about two-thirds are long-term spaces. There are fixed rates for the first day’s parking and subsequent rates depend on how many days you leave your vehicle for. Free parking is available for disabled passengers, but drivers must be in possession of a valid disabled badge. Assistance from the car park to the airport can be arranged in advance by calling: +42 2201 1607. Payment for any of the spaces should ideally be made in advance to ensure a reservation.
Prague airport offers parking in Parking Building C, which is located directly on the access road from the motorway between Prague and Kladno. You can park your car in a three-storey garage. The ground floor houses more than a dozen car rental agencies. There is also a 15min parking for free just beside the terminal building. This parking is only useful for dropping off some passengers or collecting passengers immediately from the Airport. Parking at parking lot C costs 40 CZK for each hour. Parking at the front of the terminal building costs 100 CZK for each 30min. But you can park there for up to 15min for free. Prague Airport authorities also offer discounted long term parking. For companies planning to use daily parking, there is also a frequent parking card available for unlimited parking but you have to prepay 18000 CZK for one year.

In winter months sometimes snowfall
causes one or more runways to be closed and flights delayed. If departing
from UK it's good idea not flying on the first flights of the day as these
most likely to be cancelled whilst Prague sorts itself out from overnight
snowfall. Average affected days during winter months: 4-5days.
Wifi
In the business lounge upstairs in Terminal 1 there are four PCs with free
wired internet access. Plenty of 'powerpoints' around the lounge for
laptops. T Mobile wi-fi available at 178.50 Czech Crowns for one hour -
equivalent to just over 6 Euros. Wi-fi signal reception in the lounge is
good.
In 2007 at Ruzyne should open a multipurpose Europort
complex
which will house a hotel, shops and parking. Short-term accommodation will
be available in 235 rooms. The complex will also have conference facilities
for 250 people, 500 parking spaces and 3200 qm of retail space.
