You will find information desks provided at both Arrival and Departure halls in the Terminal 1 and 2.

As Prague is quickly becoming the top tourist destination

Recommend check in time for all UK flights

is 2 hrs before flight schedule departure and 3 hrs for long distance haul flights.

Currency exchange office - You can exchange your money for Czech crowns (for example at TRAVELEX, open 24 hours) or withdraw cash from ATMs.

If you are scheduled to arrive late at night we recommend exchanging money prior to clearing customs, as the exchange office in the main hall is often shut at night. ATMs are accessible 24 hours. All exchange offices offer also Tax Refund services.

Tip: It is best not to exchange money or to cash travellers cheques at the airport as commission is very high. However if you decide to do so, don't be afraid ask the staff to lower the commission for you. Very often they agree.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE MACHINES - Now you can exchange money at any time of the day, 365 days per year in the exchange machines.

In winter months sometimes snowfall

causes one or more runways to be closed and flights delayed. If departing from UK it's good idea not flying on the first flights of the day as these most likely to be cancelled whilst Prague sorts itself out from overnight snowfall. Average affected days during winter months: 4-5days.

Wifi

In the business lounge upstairs in Terminal 1 there are four PCs with free wired Internet access. Plenty of power points around the lounge for laptops. Paid Wi-Fi hot spot available for 150 CZK for 1 hour (about 6 euros). Wi-Fi signal reception in the lounge is good.
